We use the CULQI payment gateway to enable customers to pay online. This company charges a commission of 4.2% of the total value of the products in the cart for each transaction; which is borne by Tembo on all products except gift cards.
The payment will be made at the end of the purchase process and will be an indispensable condition for the formalization of the purchase. In any case, the choice of payment method is made during the purchase process on the corresponding screen.

The services and products offered through this website are subject to availability. Therefore, the user should receive a Purchase Confirmation e-mail.
You agree that Tembo may rescind or cancel, in whole or in part, any transaction after the Purchase Confirmation and prior to delivery. In this case, Tembo will contact the user, inform him/her of the termination or cancellation and refund the cancelled money.
Furthermore, Tembo reserves the right to change or replace, at any time, any product or service offered on the website, its prices and/or specifications, as well as to limit the quantities of products made available for sale through the website, to the extent permitted by law.
The products are considered correctly delivered when they are received at the address indicated by the user in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
The person who receives the products ordered from Tembo, reports that the package contains the requested products, in correct conditions.
Tembo assumes no responsibility for delays in delivery or impossibility of delivery, when this is due to an act of God or force majeure.
The courier company may not be able to deliver the product in the following cases: i) it is not possible to locate the address indicated, iii) there is no one at the address or the person who was at the address refused to receive the package or is unable to, iv) any other similar cause not attributable to Tembo.
In the event that the courier company fails to deliver the product to the address indicated by the user, it may return to that address once again. On both occasions an e-mail will be sent to the user indicating that it has not been possible to make the delivery. If the product cannot be delivered on the second visit, it will be returned to Tembo.
Once this period has elapsed, the user may not claim delivery of the product. In no case will a refund be made.
With the purchase confirmation the user will receive an electronic invoice.
In case the user wishes to exchange the delivered product, it may be done within seven (07) working days after the delivery of the product, provided that the product has not been used, is in perfect condition and sealed in its original packaging. The user will be able to exchange for another product of the same brand.

If all the previously established conditions are met, Tembo will contact the user in order to coordinate the pick-up and redelivery. The original shipping costs will not be refunded. The costs of pick-up and redelivery shall be borne by the user.
In case a product presents manufacturing defects, understood as those physical anomalies of the products that occur during the production phase due to non-compliance with quality control processes, the user may exchange the product (subject to stock availability) for another product offered on the website or request a refund (based on the sales price paid), within seven working days of receipt of the product.

In case all the previously established conditions are met, Tembo will contact the user in order to coordinate the pick-up and redelivery, if applicable. Tembo will bear all shipping and collection costs.
Tembo may reject the refund request in the following cases:
o If made after the deadline.
o When the product has been used without taking into consideration the product data sheet and warnings. It should be noted that Tembo is responsible for keeping the information of the products offered on its website updated and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. However, it is not responsible for defects in product information, which occur when manufacturers omit or conceal the name of any component of the products, or omit to provide information on the existence of hazards that could result from the use of the same, or other relevant information related to the products it manufactures.
o In those cases in which, due to the characteristics of the product, they are not to the customer’s liking.
o Likewise, it may reject the return request when the product has been used in conditions different from those of its nature or destination, or if it has suffered an essential, irreparable and/or serious deterioration due to causes attributable to the user.
It should be noted that the above described corresponds to Tembo’s return policy and does not cover the process of refund or cancellation of the purchase on the card used to purchase Tembo’s products.
In this regard, the term for the return of the money to the account of origin or the cancellation of the purchase, will depend on what is established in the return policy of the Payment Platform and/or the Financial System Entity, respectively.
